Class Act 2

What did I tell you she's a class act and I believe now she should be the next Vice President of the United States.  United we can punish the Republican party. United
we can change this country and united we can change the world.
Senator McCain in his speech mentioned he was a "friend" well that won't work. He would love to see division but it won't happen. Today I'm proud to have watched Senator Clinton trail blaze and finish it with so much grace. From her speech she wants the VP spot and I think she should have it. She has earned it. Cheers United we can do anything!

She finished with a request for cash.  Graceful?  I think not.

John McCain wants to stay in Iraq.

She hasn't given up and I admire that. She wants to be in a strong position and that's great. I really think she wants to be part of this movement
and change America. What's wrong with that?
Clinton for VP

Hillary for VP or Let the Convention Decide (none / 0)

Hillary should be VP if Obama wants to win.
There is no one else who can unify the party.

Re: Class Act 2 (none / 0)

I think she has every right to try and twist Obama's arm she has that right. Obama has the right to say no.

Re: Class Act 2 (none / 0)

Hardly classy... kept undermining Obama at every turn... used the Bush term "Stayed the course"... then begged for money and threatened to go to the convention...

Yeah, so classy...

Re: Class Act 2 (none / 0)

I posted this on another thread, but it seems appropriate here as well, as the trashing and undermining meme is out full force

where did she trash him?

She talked about her strengths.  She didn't trash him.

the popular vote - well, cnn had it up all night long and she is ahead by their measure.  So, I don't know why that is BS'ing.  CNN has been really good about totals and such, so I am not sure why that wouldn't be something proud to talk about.

She lost - she is playing up her strengths without dismantling anyone else.  They say she is meeting with Obama tomorrow - she will concede soon.

like I stated before - John Edwards dropped out after he stated he was going on - so he could raise some more $$.  And how long did it take for him to endorse Obama?

Hillary won't take that long

it has been a great primary season - Hillary is correct in that all our states and terrorities, for the FIRST time, got to vote and have it mean something.  Engerized our base - a much stronger position to be in for November.

This went down to the last day of the primary.  I hope that ALL of our primaries are like this in the fact that all of us vote and have it really mean something.

lesson to be learned here.

Re: Class Act 2 (2.00 / 2)

You are missing something here. Obama was not the presumptive nominee when Edwards dropped out. Hillary did not even have the grace to acknowledge his victory. He had the magic number before she began her speech.

You twist arms in private. Throwing down the gauntlet on national TV right before your opponent gives his historic victory speech while acting like you won will not get you the VP slot.
